CERTIFICATE OF ADVANCED STUDIES (CAS) IN CYCLING COACHING
The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Cycling Coaching is a unique 4-month part-time international continuing education program in cycling coaching, which combines academic theory and practical application. It includes 15 days of classes, with 5 days of presential and 10 days online learning. It has been developed by the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
The course is aimed at those who already have a thorough knowledge of cycling coaching, who wish to gain a more detailed understanding of the scientific and specific cycling methods, while getting a comprehensive, in-depth overview of the latest cycling training and research methods.
Calendar & Programme Minimum Requirement
The program will take place from November 2022 to March 2023. An introduction week, for the module 1, will take place in November 2022 in Aigle and Lausanne in Switzerland, followed by the modules 2 to 6 and online (on Fridays and Saturdays), using cutting-edge distance learning education tools. A final personal project will be required to fulfil the program.
Cost
The tuition fee for the CAS is CHF 4’500.- for the whole program.
Minimum Requirement
Level 3 UCI WCC Coaching Course or and University Bachelor Degree.
