With a keen interest in the sport having competed since the age of 12 and currently qualified as a Level 2 Cycling Coach, Begemann has covered most spectrums of competitive cycling and is ready to pass his experience on to our Junior riders on the track.

Youth, Junior and Masters Time Standards Grand Prix 2018

This event is one of three National Team Selection Events for junior riders wanting to make the South African National Track Cycling Team, to compete at the World Junior Track Cycling Championships, in Switzerland (August 2018). It will be held over two sessions at the Bellville Velodrome on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 March. The junior riders will compete in two separate traditional style Omniums to determine the best Sprint and best Endurance riders. They will also target individual times and team times, set to qualify them as competitive candidates to compete in Switzerland.
