Cycling South Africa is proud to announce that six talented junior riders will be competing at the Next Generation meeting in Appeldoorn, Netherlands, from 10 to 12 January 2025.
The South African riders competing are:
- Mianette Theron
- Nikalau Volsteedt
- Hannie Vreken
- Zane Salzwedel
- Daniel le Roux
- Connor Hendricks
These riders have been hard at work, completing a comprehensive December training block at the Bellville Velodrome to prepare for this prestigious event. They also honed their race skills by competing in the Western Cape Grand Prix and the iconic Paarl Boxing Day race, gaining valuable experience and confidence.
The Next Generation meeting offers an excellent platform for young cyclists to gain international exposure and test their abilities against top riders from around the globe.
Racing at the renowned Appeldoorn Velodrome kicks off on Friday morning, 10 January, and runs through Sunday, 12 January 2025.
Cycling South Africa wishes Mianette, Nikalau, Hannie, Zane, Daniel, and Connor the best of luck as they take on this exciting challenge. We are confident they will make the nation proud!
