The CyclingSA Road Commission, together with the Executive Board, has taken the decision to extend SA National Team invitations to road cycling teams registered with CyclingSA.
As the team will be representing South Africa, all riders participating are required to:
- be South African citizens,
- race in Team SA jerseys with their own team bibs,
- be from the same registered team,
- and conform with the Diversity and Inclusivity Charter of CyclingSA, which states that there needs to be a minimum representation of 33% PDI riders.
Please note: These invitations will be extended on a rotational basis, and as no individual selections will take place, National colours will not be awarded. Each team accepting the invitation will be responsible for their own costs.
