YOUTH FESTIVAL, OUDTSHOORN

The annual Youth Festival, a popular event catering to young cyclists between the age groups of U11 – U19, will take place in Oudtshoorn from 11 – 14 July 2022.

The legendary Karkloof trails played host to a thrilling 2022 SA XCM Marathon Championships on Sunday, 29 May 2022. 

MTB Stalwarts Philip Buys and Amy Wakefield were crowned SA National Elite Champions and will don the SA stripes for the next 12 months.

COVID-19 UPDATE – MASS PARTICIPATION EVENTS

CyclingSA is excited to announce that together with the team at the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, we have established a blueprint for cycling mass participation single day and stage events to resume under COVID-19 restrictions.

UCI LEVEL 1 ONLINE COACHING COURSE

The UCI level 1 coaching course is the entry qualification for coaches and focuses on the foundations of coaching. The knowledge that is gained on this course is fundamental to ensuring coaching is appropriate for the riders and for each cycling discipline. Coaches will learn the fundamentals of technique that is consistent in all cycling activities and how to deliver effective coached sessions.
