The South African Omnium Championships is set to showcase the nation’s finest cycling talents as riders gear up to compete at the prestigious Bellville Velodrome on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. This highly anticipated event will bring together cyclists from various age categories, including U17, Junior, Elite, and Masters Riders, promising an exhilarating display of skill and determination.

Organized by Cycling South Africa (Cycling SA), the Omnium Championships have become a highlight in the cycling calendar, drawing participants and spectators alike to witness the excitement and camaraderie that this spectacular sport embodies. The Bellville Velodrome, renowned for its exceptional facilities and thrilling atmosphere, will provide the perfect setting for the championships, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all involved.

In addition to the main championship events, the Omnium will feature a non-championship event specially designed for young riders. U11, U13, and U15 Riders will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and enthusiasm for the sport, further fuelling the spirit of cycling amongst the youth.

Following the exhilarating Omnium Championships, Western Province Track will host the Heritage Day Grand Prix on Sunday, September 24th, 2023. This prestigious event will continue the celebrations of cycling excellence and pay tribute to the rich cycling heritage of South Africa.
