Cycling South Africa announces that the following team has been selected to compete in the upcoming UCI Para-cycling Road World Cups for the 2019 season.

The 2019 UCI Para-cycling Road World Cup season kicks off in May with the opening rounds taking place in Corridonia, Italy from 9-12 May. This is followed by round No.2 in Ostend, Belgium from 16-19 May, where the team has a chance to compete in Europe on back-to-back weekends.
Cycling SA Para-cycling Commission Director, O’Ryan Bruintjies, said: “For the selection, we looked at various results and their performances at the SA Champs. These UCI World Cups serve as preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and we believe that we have selected a team that will deliver the results. Our riders are consistently good performers and have experience in racing at these UCI World Cups.”
