Cycling South Africa is pleased to officially announce the national team that will represent the country at the upcoming CAC African Track Championships, set to take place from 12 to 16 May 2025 at the Cairo International Velodrome in Egypt. In addition, South Africa will be fielding a representative in the Para-Track African Championships, scheduled for 11 and 12 May at the same venue.
Organized under the auspices of the Confédération African du Cyclisme (CAC) and sanctioned as a UCI Class CC Continental Championship, the event forms a critical part of the continental competition calendar, offering UCI points and an opportunity for athletes to gain exposure and benchmark themselves against Africa’s top track cyclists.
The South African contingent includes a strong blend of elite competitors, up-and-coming juniors, and para-cycling talent, selection was based on recent performances and national selection criteria.
