Entries open for National Age Group Series, Germiston

BMX SA are happy to host over 150 riders who are gearing up for the first round of the 2019 SA BMX National Age Group (NAG) Series, Legs 1, 2 and 3, which take place at Germiston City Sports Grounds in Delville, Gauteng  from 23-24 March 2019. Legs 1 and 3 are UCI C1 sanctioned events.

All age groups are welcome to join in at the first National event of the 2019 season. The NAG Series attracts South Africa’s top BMX riders, from as young as the under 5 age category, through to the 50+ age category, in the Novice, Expert, Cruiser and Elite classes. All are welcome to attend to give BMX racing a try.

Requirements are that riders are affiliated to a BMX Club, Provincial Cycling Body and have Cycling SA Membership. An additional Racing License for riders 17 years & older to accrue series points.

Official Gate Practice is on from 14:00-16:00
The day kicks off at 08:00 with the Officials meeting and racing for Leg 1 starts at 09:30. Racing for Leg 2 will start at 13:00 
The day kicks off at 08:00 with the Officials meeting and racing for Leg 3 starts at 09:05

A detailed schedule will be e-mailed to all clubs.

Race entry fees

  • Challenge classes - R450 per rider

  • Elite Class – R 610.00 per rider

  • Non Active CSA members pay an additional R35 fee

Online registration for this event closes on TUESDAY 19 March at 18h00 and no late entries will be accepted.
