Teagan O’Keeffe and Kane Herbert will be competing in the first round of the 2014 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup, taking place in Manchester, Great Britain, from 18-19 April.
Californian based O’Keeffe, who races for the Promax Factory Team, has opened her season reaching the final rounds of all three of her UCI races in the United States this past month.
Herbert, who is based in the United Kingdom, has competed in some local races ahead of the prestigious event on the global racing calendar.
The 2014 UCI BMX Supercross (SX) World Cup series will feature five events on three continents. After a successful debut in 2013, Manchester’s National Cycling Centre will once again welcome BMX competitors from around the world, all seeking prestigious UCI points.
The trademark 8m high start ramp, and strategically designed jumps and corners make BMX SX racing exhilarating for competitors and spectators alike.
