CyclingSA is preparing for the biggest cycling event in the world and the first of its kind; the UCI Cycling World Championships scheduled to be held between 3 and 13 August 2023 in Glasgow, and across Scotland. The event will see 13 World Championships featuring across 7 disciplines.
For most discipline riders in the UCI racing categories will be selected for participation based on selection policies as published on cyclingsa.com.
The Gran Fondo disciplines however requires a different approach as riders will not be selected but need to qualify. Riders who have participated in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series as well as Veterans and Masters, may be eligible and the policy on qualification and selection criteria are available on this link: Constitution and Policies – Cycling South Africa (cyclingsa.com)
