France will play host to three UCI World Championships in 2022 with the 2022 UCI MTB World Championships being hosted in Les Gets from 24 to 28 August 2022.
This Championship will award rainbow jerseys in five MTB disciplines over the five days of racing:
- XCO: Olympic Cross-country
- XCR: Cross-country Relay
- XCC: Cross-country Short Track
- DHI: Downhill Individual, or the Descent
- E-MTB: Electrically-assisted mountain bike
