CyclingSA’s Management Committee has taken the difficult decision to cancel all remaining National Championship events for 2020.
With gatherings (including sport) limited to 50 people and the cross-provincial travel restrictions, CyclingSA has no option but to cancel these events, as we will not host National Championships where not all provinces and athletes are able to compete.
The following National Championships have been cancelled:
• Junior and Youth National Road and Time Trial Championships
• BMX National Championships
• Track National Championships
• MTB XCO National Championships
• MTB XCM National Championships
CyclingSA shares in the disappointment of the cancellation of these events but remain committed to engaging with the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture to ensure that we do the best for the sport and our members.
