SA JUNIOR E-RACING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS: 8 AUGUST 2020

The E-Racing Champs will be hosted on the Zwift platform. It will take the form of a stand-alone event on the Zwift calendar open only to full racing licensed juniors from South Africa.  Provinces will soon be receiving information and advice to ensure maximum inclusivity and diversity for the E-Racing Champs.

Though there is great uncertainty in terms of the regulations for events during the next phases of lockdown and what the travel regulations may be in terms of provinces and regions identified as hotspots, the Mountain Bike Commission has taken the decision to reschedule the National Cross Country Championships for the end of August.

Though this is a matter of ‘fingers-crossed’, it is the last opportunity prior to the UCI World Cup series starting in Europe during September. It is scheduled for the weekend of 29 August 2020.

BMX NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS: SEPTEMBER OR DECEMBER 2020

Though the BMX series will not take place this year, the BMX Commission is continuously reviewing the regulations provided from government.
