The Aspire Framework is the culmination of three engagement workshops dedicated to transformation, youth, and community development. With a commitment to diversity, our project aims to instigate positive change for all by the year 2028. Specifically designed for the development of cyclists, the Aspire Framework employs a systematic approach, outlining specific actions and pathways to achieve desired results. Our overarching goal is to purposefully evolve, ensuring future success.
In pursuit of national excellence, Cycling SA is set to play a more significant role in coordinating youth development and talent identification at the club, regional, and provincial levels. The project also introduces the use of Wahoo indoor trainers for athlete testing, forming an integral part of a talent identification program within previously disadvantaged communities. The objective is to unearth and nurture potential cycling talent in South Africa. The responsibility for conducting these tests and implementing the program lies with provincial commissions.
