SASCOC invites National level athletes to apply for bursary

The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) is inviting all National level athletes and invites them to apply for financial and educational assistance through its Bursary Fund.

SASCOC embraces and encourages the concept of further learning, and wishes to assist athletes in achieving their higher education goals. By acknowledging potential candidates, the fund hopes to address and support South Africa’s objectives of transformation in sport as well as education.

In order to apply, entrants need to be South African citizens and registered with a Club or Provincial Federation, which is affiliated to a National Federation recognised and affiliated to and in good standing with SASCOC. Applicants need to be competing at National and International sporting level, and should be studying towards a qualification in sport. The National Federation will endorse applications.

Should you be interested in applying for the Bursary Fund, please complete the application form and return it to the Cycling SA office by email to secretarygeneral@cyclingsa.com by no later than 14:00 on Friday 30 January 2015.
