COVID-19 INFORMATION
CyclingSA is committed to caring for the health and well-being of the South African cycling community.
As COVID-19 continues to develop around the globe and shift our everyday lives, CyclingSA will provide you with the resources and information about COVID-19 and its impact on cycling.
Please stay safe, during these unprecedented times and continue to follow the requirements set out by government.
Masks/buffs remain compulsory at all times with the exception of when partaking in vigorous physical activity.
The current curfew allows you to train in public between 4am – 9pm.
We are awaiting clarification from the Department of Sport, Art and Culture regarding how the new regulations will affect group rides during this period.
Events are restricted due to the regulations pertaining to the limitations of social gatherings.
It is unlikely that events will get back to pre-COVID normal. Once restrictions of social gatherings have been eased, specific COVID protocols will be in place. These protocols will be applied according to government regulations.
All events appearing on the National Event calendar on the Member’s App have been sanctioned by CyclingSA.
