Cycling South Africa and Eden Cycling are proud to announce that Oudtshoorn, Western Cape has been selected as the venue host of the 2023 SA National Road and Time Trial Championships from 8 – 12 February 2023.
In line with the UCI World Championships, CyclingSA awards the rights to manage National Championships to event organisers who have expressed interest and demonstrated the capability to organise high-calibre events.
The decision was taken by The Road Commission to rotate venues across the country to ensure that all provinces have the opportunity to host the National Championships.
“On behalf of Eden and Western Cape Cycling Association, it is the fifth time that the South African Championships will be hosted in our district. We look forward to welcoming all our guests and riders.
We would like to thank the Oudtshoorn Municipality and DCAS as well, as without their invaluable support this event would not be possible”- Corne Bence, Western Cape Chairperson.
Following the success of the previous SA National Champs, SA National Youth Championships, and other high profile events Eden Cycling and the Western Cape Cycling Association has been awarded the management rights for the 2023 event.
