2019 SA Road National Championships Juniors

About

The South African National Championships is the blue ribbon event for each cycling discipline and is held each year. The prestigious event crowns the National Champion in their chosen discipline, for their respective gender and age groups.

For 2019, the SA Road National Championships will be held for the Juniors, Youth and under from 22-23 June in Camperdown (Time Trial) and Westville (Road Race) in KwaZulu-Natal.

We look forward to welcoming all participants.


Time Trial → Lion Park, Camperdown → 22 June

Registration for the Time Trial will be at Lion Park, Camperdown at the Race Office from 05:00-10:00.

Directions to Time Trial venue

N3 from Pietermaritzburg to Lion Park:

  • Follow N3 to R103 Ashburton

  • Take exit 65 for R103 towards Lynnfield Park

  • Turn left onto R103

  • Continue onto Mr477 Rd for +- 1km to start/finish area.

N3 from Durban to Lion Park:

  • Follow N3 to R103

  • Take exit 65 for R103 towards Lynnfield Park

  • Turn right onto R103

  • Continue onto Mr477 Rd for +- 1km to start/finish area.


Road Races → Westville → 23 June

Registration for the Road Race will be at Lancaster Terrace, Westville at the Race Office from 05:00-09:00.

DIRECTIONS TO ROAD RACE VENUE

N3 from Pietermaritzburg to Westville:

  • Take exit 13 (Pavilion Mall turnoff)

  • At traffic light turn left into St James Ave which becomes Attercliff  Road

  • After 1.9 Km turn left into Buckingham Terrace (parking available at Westville Mall)

  • At the end of Buckingham Terrace go across intersection (Westville Road & Blair Atholl) to KFC for parking.

N3 from Durban to Westville:
