The South African National Championships is the blue ribbon event for each cycling discipline and is held each year. The prestigious event crowns the National Champion in their chosen discipline, for their respective gender and age groups.
The National Championships for Mountain Bike cross-country (XCO) racing takes place in Gauteng at the popular racing venue of Thaba Trails. As with our SA MTB National Cup Series races this year, our Elite and Junior category athletes will be able to score valuable UCI points once again to add to their points’ bank. As always however, all categories are welcome to race for national championship status, from Nippers through to Grand Masters.
