The Division of Exercise Science and Sports Medicine, University of Cape Town, has initiated a study on behalf of the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport, to assess your attitudes and opinions on doping issues.
The aim of the study is to assess the impact of efforts by anti-doping agencies and to identify areas of risk that require intervention. The online survey is being sent to a large sample of elite athletes, like yourself, nationally.
The same survey is being done by WADA in other countries. It is important that we hear the views of as many elite athletes as possible. Participation in this survey is voluntary. No question is compulsory. There are no right or wrong answers. We just want your honest opinion.
The information you provide is confidential. Once you open the survey there is no way for your name, email address, IP address or any other custom data to be identified by completing this online survey. No individual responses can be identified and only total data are analysed.
Please complete the online survey, which is accessed by the link below, by 30 August 2018.
We would appreciate you taking the time to help us understand the issues around doping better and improve efforts to keep sport ‘clean’.
