Cycling South Africa, in partnership with DotCloud (system developer), are pleased to announce that the Cycling SA membership mobile app is now available for download for Android and iPhone.
Previously only web-based, the new mobile app shows members their membership/license status, allows events to use the portal as an event entry system linked to the live calendar, produces reports for the affiliates and regions to monitor, and effectively creates a one-stop-shop for Cycling in South Africa.
The mobile app serves as a digital membership card on your phone as well. Members are able to renew memberships, purchase memberships, and enter events from the app.
Event Organisers and affiliates, will load events via the web-portal due to the amount of information required. The system has a complete accounting and financial reporting system attached to it as well.
Coming soon to the app are race notifications specific to – and informing members about – the races that they have entered. Updates, start lists, cancellations and changes to each event will be received as notifications by the relevant recipients.
This is an exciting breakthrough for Cycling South Africa that creates a positive and painless entry process for the members and organisers.
