Important information
The South African Track Grand Prix Series 1&2 takes place in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal this year at the Cyril Geoghegan Cycle Track in Durban from 7 August – 9 August 2016. The event is also a UCI CL 2 event, drawing attention not just from South Africa, but other countries around the continent as well.
This event will be run under the auspices of CSA and KZN Cycling.
The UCI Rules (Version 15.03.16) will be enforced. Without a signed indemnity form you will not be allowed to race.
U10 / U12 and U14 may race together, depending on entries but separate medals per age category will be awarded in accordance with CSA T & D.
U16 boys and girls will race together for bunch races but will receive separate medals.
Should there be insufficient riders in an Elite or Junior category for UCI points to be awarded, the organisers reserve the right to combine categories at their discretion. Should this happen medals will be awarded for the race and not per age category and prize money will be awarded as per Masters category allocation.
U10 – U16 will be allowed to enter on presentation of A CSA MEMBERSHIP.
MASTERS will be allowed to enter on presentation of A CSA RACING LICENCE.
JUNIOR & ELITE will be allowed to enter on presentation of AN INTERNATIONAL RACING LICENCE.
