About

The SA National Road Championships will once again be staged in KwaZulu–Natal with a four day competition programme over a five day period. The event dates are 10–14 February with the time trial competitions being staged on 10 and 11 February and the road races all happening on 13 and 14 February. There will be two competition sites in 2016 with the time trial taking place in the Wartburg / Noodsburg / Harburg area utilising the same time trial routes as were used for the 2015 African Continental Road Championships and the road races will be staged in the Westville (Durban) area using predominantly the same routes with some minor adjustments as were used when the national championships were last staged in Durban in 2014.

It is planned to stage both the time trial and road race competitions for the Para-cycling division in Wartburg on 10 and 11 February but this will be dependent on the technical aspects of the course meeting the requisite Para-cycling standards.

All the rooms have been provisionally blocked for the event, so anyone making contact with them should indicate that they are making enquiries or bookings as part of the SA Road Championships.
